Forecast for 2022, Year of the Water Tiger
The Video Forecast is Being Worked on, but in the meantime here is the written version.
But behind that ‘appearance of polarity’, we are looking two sides of the same coin that is being spent to accomplish profound societal changes. Saturn in Aquarius and Jupiter in Pisces are the BIG players this year, but Saturn in his angelic guise has more sway, because of that conjunction with the Sun and Moon, so its practical, yet innovative nature is going color the entire year. But additionally, most of the planets, Mars, Venus, Mercury, Pluto, the Moon and Sun come under Saturn’s influence in its extrovert, dynamic Sign Aquarius, so expect it to be a fiscally and personally conservative year, that is at the same time innovative, and thanks to Mars Exalted in Capricorn, very industrious. When we say conservative, we don’t mean that in a political sense. We mean that people are going to be careful in their spending and travel and focused on the future, especially their ambitions. Also, there should be a big drive this year for people wanting to formalize their relationships, so great news for wedding planners and contract attorneys. At the same time Jupiter in its extrovert, responsive Sign, the beacon of compassion and belief, is bonding with Neptune, the planet of imagination and hidden money, especially in the first half of this year. So, Jupiter’s influence will be less concrete than Saturn’s, but pervasive. Uranus is playing its own game this year and issues related to climate change will be one of the most hotly contested issues on the east coast. It will not be pretty, in fact expect it to be downright chaotic with protests, and calls for older legislators to step aside, in favor of younger candidates who are invested in the future. As much as the pundits and political operatives tout the possible candidacies of Biden and Trump, the big charts for 2023 and 2024 do not support that scenario. By 2024 Trump at 78 will be a fading after thought and Biden at 82 will be eclipsed by a younger, charismatic candidate. Keep in mind that Biden is already the oldest President in American history, and the two of them are not getting any younger. There are a lot of young voters on there who are anxious about the climate and don’t want to vote for their ‘great’ grandpa’s. Getting a Greater Perspective The outer planets, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, tell us about the big issues, out there in the world beyond our personal life. It is very telling that in 2022, only Jupiter is changing Signs. The biggest Planet starts the year at zero degrees of compassionate Pisces, then moves into aggressive and enthusiastic Aries in May, and then returns to Pisces, and just before the end of the year returns to Aries. What does that mean for us? In terms of those big things that are beyond our personal control, politics, economics and social movements, what was in place in 2021 will continue in 2022. The part that will change is how we feel about those events, so expect the tide of opinion to turn in one direction and then turn again. On the positive side, we will finish the year with a strong sense of new beginnings with younger ideas that look to the future. At the start of 2022 there will be sense that some institutions are in their final stages and need to be revamped or replaced with newer systems to deal with the current issues. This is due to all the outer planets, except the rebel Uranus in Taurus, being in the final three signs of the Zodiac. Pluto is in Capricorn, Saturn is in Aquarius, while Jupiter and Neptune are in Pisces. There is a great deal in our social structure globally, that is in the final stages of its cycle. For example, the long repression of women and the belief that natural resources are unending, that the Earth will always provide, no matter how large the population. Another example is seen in how many US senators, who have a disproportionate influence in Washington DC, are senior citizens. They are much older and ethnically different than most of the people whose lives they impact. The majority of the baby boomers, the previously largest generation, are now at, or approaching retirement age. Many of them had been hanging on, continuing to work and often stifling the advancement of their younger colleagues. One of the results of Covid, that hit the older generations harder, and the resulting quarantine, was that many of them did not return to work, choosing to retire, or begin secondary careers that they could operate from their homes, opening opportunities for the younger generation.
This Jupiter Transit will come out in a burst of energy in the first part of the year because Jupiter is moving fast from our point of view, all the way through Pisces and entering Aries on May 10th. Expect some rumbling at that time when Jupiter, the traditional God of lightning enters the most dynamic of martial Signs. With Jupiter in Aries expect people to become increasingly outspoken about those beliefs and impatient for change. Meanwhile it will promote the rise of some influential, younger personalities. There may be an uptick in environmental protests and with the Aries influence they may get increasingly kinetic, aka violent. But before Jupiter bolts into Aries, that Pisces influence may create an upsurge in church attendance, spiritual participation, alcohol and wine purchases and expansion of the legal cannabis industry. The movement for national legalization and the end of prohibition may make great advances. Also expect the pharmaceutical stocks to soar thanks to continuing vaccine windfalls. Pisces is seen as the sign of the Pharma companies while Virgo is seen as the Sign of herbs and plant-based medicines. Having Neptune, which relates strongly to hidden money and resources in Pisces for an extended period of time speaks about the growing power of the pharma companies to influence national policies. It seems impossible to turn on the television to any commercial channel and not be bombarded with drug ads. Pluto relates to the power of the small and in Capricorn, Sextile Neptune, it shows the power of a virus to support the industry. This connection between Neptune and Pluto is not all negative, there has been remarkable advancements during these aspects in the use of yeast and mushrooms to create beneficial and nutritious products. Diverse Locations On the west coast the climate, fires and forests will see Exalted Mars in Capricorn sticking its foot into that, but people will feel empowered by this, they have been taking action to protect their ‘home’ and they will be doing that increasingly through partnerships, willing to make the hard decisions and the long-term investments. Of course, anyone who stays current with the west coast politics and economies could tell you that, but it’s good to see it in the chart too! China, Malaysia, Singapore will be places of great activity, although that can also mean greater suppression and uprisings (Saturn in Aquarius) in China’s central and western regions. Expect China to become even more aggressive pressing their claims in the South China Sea (Jupiter in Pisces) and Taiwan may be the sight of much worry and suffering this year due to China’s expansionistic nature. However internal challenges in China, including an aging population (the result of their one child policy) and a banking crisis (due to their co-opting their citizens savings to provide unrestrained investment capital with little oversight), may hinder their ongoing goals resulting in some dramatic failures in 2023, including a slowdown in the economy. Iran and the countries nearby can expect disruption caused by the competing agendas of the male dominated conservative leadership and increasing participation by women in positions of authority and influence. India is in for a financial rise through increasing participation of youth and a greater depth of experience and resources. They are on track to surpass China as the largest population, and as the world’s largest democracy, with an educated class that has friendly connections throughout the world, opportunities abound. Europe is smoothly cruising this year after the major disruption caused by England departing the European Union. The diverse countries will finally get their feet back under themselves and begin forging new pathways in a world that is less dominated by the United States and annoyed less by England. Expect Argentina, and especially Buena Aires to focus attention on improving their quality of life and international connections, Expect Brazil, and especially Rio to focus on the hidden economies, hidden populations and an expansion of pharmaceutical resources, to overcome their out of control COVID infections. End Note In conclusion, while this year will see little political movement in the antiquated thinking that has inhibited progress towards solving global issues, we will see the seeds of a new approach germinating. The best strategy will be to recognize that our ability to affect big, external events politically will be limited, but allow time for the new ideas and approaches to spread. Businesses are investing in that future and where the money goes is where the future grows. With Saturn and Jupiter both so strong, being disciplined in your personal and spiritual growth will yield wonderful results. Saturn in Aquarius, having so much leverage this year, is saying that we all need to have a global vision. Jupiter in Pisces is saying that the need for compassion for is paramount. Recognize what you are ambitious about and move in that direction. Then once Jupiter enters Aries in May, express yourself by setting off in that direction. Make sure you watch the forecast video because it addresses issues that are not covered here.
2021 Chinese New Year Forecast, The Metal Ox, Short Version
Chinese New Year Forecast, The Metal Ox, Long Version
A Special Election Forecast
To get the full picture, let’s go back to mid-September when Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto in compressive Capricorn started moving forward again. They have been crushing the world, and especially the USA, all year. But, as 2020 ends, Jupiter and Saturn meet in a powerful conjunction at zero degrees Aquarius. Known as the Water Pourer, Aquarius will begin ‘pouring’ a powerful light on the Earth for the common good. While that doesn’t show who will win the election, it does say that a big shift is happening from conservative, bureaucratic Capricorn into innovative, global-minded Aquarius. Next, we consulted the New Moon in Aquarius chart, for February 11th, 2021, that marks the Chinese, or Lunar New Year. That’s the seed chart for the coming year and it gives us a clear a picture of what’s ahead. On the Lunar New Year, the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Saturn will be in Aquarius. Mercury and Saturn will be especially powerful, since Saturn elevates mature men who are concerned with the common good, and who are open to new ideas. That seems to describe lifelong public servant Joe Biden, who is obviously open to the ‘new idea’ of a woman as his Vice President. That Mercury celebrates youthful advocates and attorneys, which sounds quite a bit like former California Attorney General and US Senator, Kamala Harris. Take note though, with Mars and Uranus in Taurus, the Sign of Mother Earth, climate change will be a central subject in 2021. Here’s another perspective. We frequently use Astro*Carto*Graphy maps as a forecasting tool and, at the Lunar New Year, the planetary lines of all those planets in Aquarius cross over the United States, so the global spotlight will be focused here on the USA for 2021.
That powerful Saturn over California shows the Golden State being taken very seriously, as a stabilizing force for the global community. Maybe the Vice President will be someone born in Oakland? Also, Pisces is the sign of the federal government, so Neptune over Washington DC, could show the bureaucracy restoring itself behind the scenes. We think that in 2021, the United States will get back on its feet and regain its international stature, but as an equal member of the global community, rather than the sole leader.
If Trump continues in office, we would expect his allies, like Russia and Saudi Arabia, to have great planetary lines crossing over them, as they have had for the past few years. But in 2021, Moscow has a solitary line overhead, a Chiron partnership line. This shows them possibly suffering through their connection with an impetuous, wounded person. They might be going through one of those painful ‘learning’ experiences related to the global community.
There is a solitary Pluto ‘home’ line crossing over Saudi Arabia, a country controlled by a family that has serious stock in Fox News. After Pluto’s previous conjunction with Saturn and Jupiter, it looks forward to being isolated in conservative Capricorn. This indicates a diminished, solitary influence, out of step with a world moving away from fossil fuels. Based on these maps, 2021 is not the bringer of good news for those two countries.
For some insight into the pandemic, Beijing is crossed by a Chiron ‘home’ line. That indicates continuing issues with disease and health, which is not surprising due to their rapidly aging demographic and extreme population density. There may be a local resurgence of COVID, or a new pandemic caused by overpopulation. In years when China was economically booming, the Sun and Moon lines were over the ‘Middle Kingdom’ at the Lunar New Year. But in 2021, the Sun is again shining on the United States of America.
